1. Jewelry Care

How should l care for my jewelry?

Store your jewelry separately and avoid exposing it to liquids and cosmetics. Extreme temperatures and humidity can cause gold-plated jewelry to lose its luster; keep your jewelry in a dark, cool and dry place to avoid this.

Our best advice: wear your jewelry often (this helps reduce oxidation) and keep them in a flannel bag when not in use.

Can I wear my jewelry every day?

Yes, but remove it during activities like swimming, exercising, or cleaning to preserve its shine and integrity.

Does jewelry tarnish over time?

Some metals like sterling silver may tarnish naturally. Regular cleaning and storing in anti-tarnish pouches or boxes will keep your jewelry looking like new.

What are your payment methods?

We accept all major international and domestic credit and debit cards, including:
Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Maestro, JCB, Diners Club, and Visa Electron.
We also accept PayPal payments.

Please note: Our system will automatically display the available payment methods based on your country/region at checkout.

Do you Accept payment plans?

Yes, we accept payment plans.

1.The ring you wish to purchase – a screenshot or link is helpful.

2.Metal material – options include 10k, 14k, 18k gold, platinum, or palladium.

3.Metal color – rose, yellow, or white gold/silver (platinum and palladium are silver by default).

4.Side stone options, if any.

5.Your ring size.

6.Your preferred payment plan – how many installments, frequency, and the amount of each payment.

We will review your information and confirm whether the plan is feasible.

Transaction Do Not Honor

If you would like to proceed with the order, please call the 800 number on the back of the card, ask your card issuer for help, and then pay again, or try another card.

Are your prices final?

You will see the final price at the checkout, all taxes and possible shipping fees will be calculated depending on your location. We recommend checking if any customs fee or import duties applied to your country.

Is it safe to make payments on your website?

What size should I buy?

If you’re not quite sure which size is right for you, refer to our size charts.

Can I customize the ring details? Can I swap out the center stone for a different one?

Of course! We offer any type of custom or personalized order. If you have an idea for a ring, you are welcome to provide us with pictures or specifications of what you would like made. Please contact us at bywardjewelry@gmail.com for details.

Please note:

1. We reserve the right to shelve and sell customized products.

2. The custom order is specifically made for you, which is not refundable unless there is a defect with the item when you get the item, in that case we will make a new one.

Is there a second quality inspection before shipping?

Of course, our experts will conduct quality inspection on the rings before shipment.

Can I track my order after purchase?

Yes, once you have placed your order, you will receive a tracking number. You can track the progress of your delivery with this number.

Are Byward's gemstones ethically sourced?

Yes, all of our gemstones are ethically sourced and comply with responsible and conflict-free sourcing standards. We only work with trusted suppliers who follow the Kimberley Process and other international guidelines to ensure that every diamond we use is obtained responsibly.

4. Shipping & Delivery

How long will it take for me to get my order?

From an environmental aspect, all our pieces are made to order to avoid waste of raw materials, which also enables you to receive your pieces in their best condition.

Since our pieces are handmade with advanced craftsmanship, please allow us 18 working days for production and we will send them out as soon as they are finished.

Can you rush my order?

Orders may be rushed if possible, but will require a rush fee to move it ahead in production.
Please contact us ahead of time if your order is time sensitive.

What are your shipping fees?

Domestic (U.S.) Orders: We offer free shipping on all domestic orders.

International Orders: We charge a flat rate of 40 USD for all international orders.

Do you ship overseas?

Yes, we ship all over the world. Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout.

5.Returns and Exchanges

What is your refund & exchange policy?

We stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship. If you receive a defective item, please contact us within 5 days of receiving your package via email at bywardjewelry@gmail.com.

If you are unsatisfied for personal reasons, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your package.

What is your resize policy?

We strongly recommend confirming your correct ring size before placing your order, as a proper fit is essential for your satisfaction. Should you require a resize due to providing an incorrect size, our policy is designed to be as helpful and clear as possible.

How do I return/exchange my ring?

To start a return, please contact our customer service team at bywardjewelry@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return. Once approved, you’ll receive detailed instructions.

All items must be sent to the address below. A refund will be issued minus shipping and restocking fees. Refund is not guaranteed if we are not contacted before item is shipped.

Our return policy EXCLUDES custom orders, engraved items, and items broken or damaged after receipt.

How do I start the customization process?

we love working on special orders and custom work. If you have a vision of a special jewelry design that you'd like brought to life, please contact us at bywardjewelry@gmail.com to get a no obligation quote.

How long does a custom order take?

Typically, 3–6 weeks depending on design complexity and production schedule. We’ll provide an estimated delivery date once the design is approved.

Do you offer engraving services?

Yes, absolutely! You have the option of writing with up to 20 characters of text, which includes numbers, symbols and letters. Popular options include anniversary dates, birthdays, initials, secret messages, phrases with special meaning, and family names.

Can I modify my order after placing it?

We understand that you may change your mind! Minor adjustments—such as ring size, engraving, or shipping details—can usually be made within 24–48 hours after placing your order.

Once production has started or the item has shipped, changes may no longer be possible. Please contact our team as soon as possible if you need to make any modifications.

Can I see the design before it’s made?

Yes. We provide digital renders or 3D CAD previews for your approval before production begins, ensuring every detail matches your expectations.

Is there an additional cost for customization?

Customizations may involve an extra design or material fee depending on complexity. We’ll always confirm all costs before starting the process.

7.Moissanite Q&A

What is Moissanite?

Moissanite is a brilliant gemstone originally discovered in a meteor crater in 1893. Because natural moissanite is extremely rare, today’s moissanite is ethically lab-created. It offers dazzling brilliance and durability—making it an exceptional alternative to diamonds.

Will Moissanite get dull over time?

No. Moissanite will not lose its sparkle or become cloudy over time. Its exceptional brilliance and fire are permanent, as the gemstone does not absorb oils or react to air or light. With regular gentle cleaning, your moissanite will maintain its dazzling shine for a lifetime.

How do I care for my moissanite jewelry?

Moissanite is very easy to care for. Simply clean it with mild soap, warm water, and a soft toothbrush to remove dirt or oils. Rinse well and dry with a soft cloth.
Avoid harsh chemicals and store your jewelry separately to prevent scratching other pieces.

How Long Does Moissanite Last?

Are lab-grown diamonds the same as moissanite?


No. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds with the same properties as mined ones, while moissanite is a different gemstone made of silicon carbide. It offers even more brilliance and is an affordable, ethical alternative.

What does “eye-clean” moissanite mean?

“Eye-clean” means that the gemstone appears flawless to the naked eye, with no visible inclusions or blemishes. All of our moissanite stones meet this clarity standard.

What is your warranty policy?

At Byward Jewelry, every piece is created with meaning and made to last.

How do I make a warranty claim?

To file a warranty claim, please contact our customer service team and provide your order number, photos of the damaged item, and a brief description of the issue. Our team will review your claim and guide you through the repair or replacement process.

What does the warranty cover?

It covers defects in materials or workmanship, such as loose stones, broken prongs, or faulty clasps.

Can I get my jewelry repaired after the warranty expires?

Yes. We still offer jewelry repair services. Costs depend on the type of repair.
